Arapahoe Park and Recreation District has developed
1 recreation center, 1 skatepark, 14 parks,
approximately 14 miles of trails, and maintains over 300 acres of natural areas. APRD is actively developing additional park locations,
trails and refurbishing other parks.
The District shares elementary school play fields with Cherry Creek School District at
8 other locations. Use of these play fields, per the
terms of the Joint Use Agreement between Arapahoe
Park and Recreation District and Cherry Creek School
District, may be subject to certain limitations that
impact availability, days of the week that permits
are allowed and times of the day when permits are
allowed.
