Hours of Operation:
There will be modified hours of operation
at times during the swim season
Open Weekends only August 9 thru September 6
Open Memorial Day and Labor Day from 10:00 am to
6:00 pm
Please check with pool staff regarding the modified
hours of operation.
Pool will open at 2:00 pm on certain Saturdays due to
a Home Swim Meets. Dates TBD by CARA Swim.

Trails Recreation Center memberships are not valid
at the Lookout Pool.

Private Pool
Rental -
Rent Lookout Pool for two
hours for your private parties, reunions, or just
because! Pool rentals are available on
Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, from 6:00 pm to 8:00
pm during the summer season. Reservations may
begin for the current swim season after April 1st.

All individuals wishing to pay District rates must show proof of residency at the time of admittance.
Proof can be made by showing a District ID card, driver’s license, tax statement or mail delivered to you from the utility or phone company.
Trails Recreation Center
memberships are not valid at the Lookout Pool.
Lookout Pool will close in the event of inclement
weather.

Rules & Regulations
These rules are set up for the users. It is
expected that all users obey the rules in order to
ensure a safe experience. All Aquatic
Employees are expected to strictly enforce each and
every rule, everyday. If a patron has a
question or concern about a rule, please direct them
to the Aquatic Supervisor or Pool Manager.
Rules are subject to change without notice if the
situation warrants it.
POOL RULES

IMPORTANT RULES FOR
YOUR NEXT POOL VISIT

All users must shower before
entering the pool
-
Children 5 yrs and
younger need to have a responsible adult in the
water with them at all times. Children 6-9
yrs must be accompanied and cared for poolside
by an adult (15yrs+) in the Aquatic Center.
-
Appropriate swim attire (i.e.
swimsuit, swim trunks, etc.) is required in the
pool. No street clothes, cut-off shorts,
athletic apparel or thongs
-
Children permitted in swim
diapers and/or securely fitted rubber pants
ONLY!
-
Consumption of food and/or
drink in designated areas only. NO GUM!
-
Jewelry (except for watches
and rings), band-aids and hairpins are not to be
worn in the pool
-
Horseplay and
exhibitions that jeopardize personal safety are
prohibited
-
Water wings and
inflatable flotation devices are
prohibited: Only Water noodles and
Coast Guard approved lifejackets are allowed in
the pool
-
No running on deck or diving
-
Persons with open sores or
contagious infections are not permitted in the
pool
-
No spitting, spouting or nose
blowing in the pool
-
Check with management before
using cameras or video equipment

Pets are not permitted in the
pool area

Courtesy to others and
appropriate language is expected

Use of specific areas of the
facility may be restricted due to aquatic
programming

The aquatics area may close
at the discretion of the Supervisor or head
lifeguard on duty in the event of inclement
weather (lightning/thunder) or in the presence
of possible health concerns from waterborne or
blood borne bacteria

Additional rules and
regulations may be implemented without notice at
the discretion of the Arapahoe Park and
Recreation District Staff.
Additional rules and/or guidelines deemed
necessary for the safety and comfort of our
patrons will be strictly enforced
BABY (Wading) POOL
-
Children over 6 years old are
prohibited from using the Baby Pool
-
Infant Floats (excluding
water wings) may be used only in the Baby Pool
with parent/guardian direct supervision
-
All children under 6 years
old must be supervised by a responsible parent
and/or guardian
-
Children permitted in swim
diapers and/or securely fitted rubber pants
ONLY!
WATERSLIDE
-
Waterslide users must be 48"
tall; and be able to swim out of the splashdown
area (subject to swim test)
-
Follow the instructions of
the waterslide attendants at all times
-
One slider at a time - No
chains
-
Upon exiting from the slide,
move out of the splash pool immediately
-
No head first sliding - stay
seated or lying down (feet first) in the flume
-
Do no stop in the flume
Items of Note:
Arapahoe Park
and Recreation District will not provide chaise
lounges or chairs at the Lookout Park Pool. Users
should plan on providing their own seating
arrangements. The pool area has a concrete apron and a large expanse of turf area.
A limited number of lockers will be available on a daily basis for users to lock up valuables. Users must provide their own locks. Lockers must be emptied before the end of business each day. Neither Arapahoe Park and Recreation District, it’s agents, employees, contractors, sub-contractors or pool staff will be responsible for the security of lockers or the contents therein.
