Officials - Athletics Department

The Athletics Department of the Trails Recreation Center/Arapahoe Park and Recreation District is seeking qualified Officials in specific areas.  These areas include:

Volleyball (Adult)
Basketball (Adult)

Essential Functions:

-Provide positive customer service to participants
-Handle participant issues, problems and concerns professionally
-Set up and tear down necessary equipment (as needed) before and after program
-Comply with Arapahoe Park and Recreation District/Trails Recreation Center rules and regulations, policies and procedures

Qualifications:

-Extensive experience in officiating and understands the rules in specific sport
-CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within 90 days

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to talk and/or hear language from patrons, managers, or groups of people and ability to see objects closely and at a distance; ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, reach, climb and stoop or kneel; ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted. The noise level is moderate to high; water and humid conditions exist.  Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends is required.
