The Arapahoe Park and Recreation District is no longer
accepting applications and/or resumes for the
Assistant District Manager position. The
position has not been filled, however; the district
feels that they now have an abundance of qualified
individuals who have applied for the job.
The park district has been
inundated with applications and/or resumes for this
position. Applicants have previously been
mailed a letter discussing the original district
timeline in regards to interviews and hiring.
Please note the following update:
It is likely that the timeline stated in the May
2008 response to applicants may slip by two weeks or
more. The Board of Directors for the Arapahoe
Park and Recreation District has hired an
independent consultant who will be conducting phone
interviews with viable candidates and helping the
district narrow the applicant field down to 3 - 5
finalists. Once that is accomplished, the
Board of Directors will hold formal interviews with
those 3 - 5 candidates.
It is possible that the start date for this position
may become August 1, 2008. The district is in
no particular hurry to fill the position and wants
to be diligent in selecting the best possible
